Overview
Becoming a first-time parent can be both exciting and overwhelming. That's where Parentally.nl comes in.
Parentally is a Dutch service marketplace dedicated to the wellbeing of parents. Their mission is to help expecting and new parents to find all the extra care and support they may need to prepare for parenthood and navigate all its twists-and-turns, from pregnancy to birth, postpartum and first years of parenthood. With over 100 experts offering services like hypnobirthing, pregnancy massages, doula support, and photography, it's the only platform in the Netherlands dedicated to parental wellbeing.
Challenge
Parentally.nl had a clear goal: to provide a seamless and supportive online experience for parents in the Netherlands.
Initially, the platform was built using WordPress and an off-the-shelf solution. This setup posed significant challenges for Karoll and her users. She lacked control over the processes, making it difficult to change or improve user flows. Additionally, customers were complaining that the platform was not meeting their expectations. These issues with user experience and features were hindering Karoll’s ability to grow the business.
Karoll needed a custom marketplace solution that could scale with her growing business, ensuring a smooth experience for both parents and professionals. She sought a tech partner who could bring her vision to life and tackle the technical complexities of building such a comprehensive marketplace. That's where Codelevate comes in.
Outcome
In just 4 months, we transformed Karoll's vision into reality. Starting from the initial idea, we moved through concept visualization , testing, and end-to-end development, providing a seamless migration from her old platform to a new, custom solution.
With a dedicated team of 2 developers, a project manager, and a UX/UI designer, we delivered a scalable SaaS marketplace solution. Key features included an admin control panel for Karoll, search listings with filters and a map, a booking process, checkout integration with Stripe Connect, a user authentication process with Auth0 and role permissions, and a user dashboard.
The Net Promoter Score (NPS) from their existing customers saw a significant increase, and we received the first wave of positive feedback. With our ongoing support, we will continue to help Karoll deliver an exceptional experience for her customers.
